LUCKNOW, March 12 -- The Noida International Airport being developed in the Jewar area of Gautam Buddha Nagar district is rapidly moving toward operational readiness. Nearly 95 percent of the construction work for the first phase of this ambitious project of the state government has been completed. The remaining work is expected to be finished by November 10. In the first phase, the airport will operate with one runway and will have an annual passenger handling capacity of 1.20 crore passengers. On average, around 150 flights are expected to operate daily.
