JAMMU, July 1 -- The Special Judge NIA Cases, Jammu, Prem Sagar, has rejected the bail application of Nadeem Ul Haq of Banihal, Ramban, who is facing trial in the 2021 Jammu IED conspiracy case investigated by the National Investigation Agency.
The accused had sought bail on the ground that he has been in custody since June 27, 2021, and that the trial was moving slowly. His counsel argued that only a limited number of prosecution witnesses had been examined so far and claimed that there was no likelihood of conviction.
