JAMMU, Feb. 4 -- The Court of Sessions, Special Judge (NDPS Cases), Jammu Parvaiz Iqbal, dismissed a bail application filed by Parvez Ahmed in FIR No. 182/2019 of Police Station Bishnah under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act, holding that humanitarian bail cannot be granted as a matter of routine in view of the statutory rigour of Section 37 NDPS Act.
As per the order dated January 28, 2026, the case is at the stage of prosecution evidence, and the accused is lodged in District Jail, Poonch.
