JAMMU, Sept. 17 -- MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today initiated the reconstruction work of the nallah protection wall in Sanjay Nagar, Ward No. 46, at an estimated cost of ?50 lakh.
The work is being executed under the Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED). The earlier wall had been severely damaged and collapsed at several places, creating a serious safety hazard for local residents and posing a risk to the surrounding area.
The commencement of the work took place in the presence of Mandal President Sh. Sahil Mahajan, his team, prominent local residents, and UEED officials, including the concerned XEN, AEE, JE and contractor.
