JAMMU, Feb. 13 -- The government has announced the constitution of a high-level committee to look into matters concerning the regularization of daily wagers, contractual and ad hoc employees serving in various departments.
Replying to Un-starred Assembly Question No. 539 tabled by MLA Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj, the government said the committee was set up through Government Order No. 384-JK (GAD) of 2025 dated March 19, 2025, to examine issues related to the regularization of different categories of workers. The official response stated that the panel has been directed to evaluate the issue from humanitarian, legal and financial standpoints and to suggest a comprehensive course of action.
