AKHNOOR, July 9 -- In a significant push towards strengthening civic infrastructure, MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat on Thursday laid the foundation stone for development works worth ?4.95 crore at Nirdosh Chowk, Akhnoor. The project, sanctioned under the Disaster Management Scheme (SASCI), envisages the construction and repair of lanes, drains, roads, protection walls, iron gratings and other allied civic infrastructure across various locations within the Municipal Committee Akhnoor.
The foundation stone was laid in the presence of Director, Urban Local Bodies Jammu, Kapil Sharma (JKAS).
