JAMMU, March 9 -- MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today started the construction of drain and tile work near Shiv Mandir, Sector-3, Trikuta Nagar, Ward No. 53, fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents.
The work is being carried out under the supervision of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to improve the drainage system and develop proper tiled pathways for the convenience of the public.
On the occasion, Mandal President Nitish Mahajan along with his team members and a large number of local residents were present. Officials from JMC and the contractor concerned were also present during the commencement of the work.
