JAMMU, Feb. 10 -- In a major step towards improving civic infrastructure, MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta today inaugurated the long-pending deep drain construction work at Upper Krishna Nagar, Ward 12. The project, estimated to cost Rs 10 lakh, is being executed from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and aims to address the persistent problem of waterlogging faced by local residents. The inauguration ceremony was attended by district team members, the Mandal President along with party workers, officials of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), and local residents who welcomed the initiative. The residents expressed satisfaction that their long-standing demand for proper drainage infrastructure had finally been taken up for execution.
