JAMMU, Aug. 18 -- The NSS Unit of MIER College of Education successfully organized a 15-day Swachhata Pakhwada campaign from 1-15August, 2026 emphasizing environmental cleanliness, waste management, and community awareness.
Throughout the fortnight, 20 dedicated NSS volunteers from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Education actively participated in various sustainability initiatives. Highlighting creative recycling, the volunteers crafted a series of impressive utility and decorative items under the "Best Out of Waste" theme, which were later put on public display to inspire sustainable living habits.
