MALIGAON, April 17 -- In a unique and collaborative effort to strengthen voter awareness and democratic participation, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), through its heritage line Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), partnered with the Office of the District Election Officer, Darjeeling to organise a "Mega SVEEP" (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) programme on 17th April 2026. The initiative was aimed at encouraging informed and inclusive participation in the upcoming General Election to the West Bengal Legislative Assembly (WBLA) 2026.
