REASI, Sept. 2 -- A media delegation from Ahmedabad, currently visiting the Jammu region as part of a press tour organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), visited the Chenab Railway Bridge and Anji Khad Railway Bridge in Reasi district on Wednesday. The visit provided the journalists with first-hand exposure to the scale, technological sophistication and engineering features of these railway infrastructure projects.
During the visit, senior railway officials briefed the delegation on the technical, structural and engineering aspects of both bridges, including their design, construction methods and the challenges involved in building them across the difficult mountainous terrain.
