CHANDIGARH, Oct. 10 -- The Department of Botany at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry and under the aegis of the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), organised a laboratory visit-cum-hands-on workshop for students of Classes IX and XI from Bhavan R. K. Saboo Vidyalaya, New Chandigarh.
The workshop, conducted by Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, introduced students to section-cutting and staining techniques used in preparing permanent plant anatomy slides.
