Poonch, Aug. 19 -- A team from the Food Safety Department, led by Assistant Food Safety Commissioner Tariq Mahmood, inspected various markets in Poonch city to check the quality of food items. The team also included Food Safety Inspectors Zafar Iqbal and Muhammad Rais Malik.
The team inspected various hotels, shops, and especially meat shops. The purpose of this inspection was to ensure that customers are provided with good-quality and hygienic food. Assistant Food Safety Commissioner Tariq Mahmood said that no substandard meat or food items have been found in any hotel so far.
