Mattan, Aug. 19 -- Senior leader of Apni Party and In-charge Anantnag East Constituency, Sh. M.K. Yogi, today paid a visit to the historic Martand Sun Temple, Kharibal, Mattan, accompanied by prominent locals including Mohd Yousuf Sofi, Kulvinder Singh Bali, Mohd Yousuf Zargar, Subash Kachroo, Shabir Ahmed Itoo Basant Ji Khar and others
During the visit, Yogi Ji expressed deep concern and dismay over the closure of the temple park, which has remained shut following the recent Baisaran episode. He interacted with local shopkeepers and residents, who highlighted their suffering due to loss of livelihood caused by the absence of tourist and pilgrimage activity.
