CHENANI, Sept. 4 -- BJP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, today said that the teachings of Lord Krishna are highly relevant in the present times and should be promoted among the younger generation.
Khatana was speaking on the sacred occasion of Janmashtami at a programme organised by Ever Green School, Chenani, where schoolchildren presented colourful and meaningful programmes highlighting the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
Addressing the gathering, Khatana said that society must encourage children to remain connected with their traditional values and cultural heritage while simultaneously providing them with modern education and knowledge.
