UJJAIN, Aug. 10 -- Thousands of devotees thronged the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Ujjain on the second Monday of the holy month of Sawan, seeking blessings of Lord Mahakal.
The temple witnessed a massive influx of devotees from different parts of the country, with elaborate arrangements put in place by the district administration and temple authorities to manage the rush and ensure smooth darshan.
Among those who offered prayers at the temple was Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who attended the spiritually significant Bhasma Aarti at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in the early hours.
