JAMMU, March 24 -- With the objective of enhancing labor efficiency and reducing operational turnaround times, there is a continuous emphasis on adopting modern technologies for freight transport and handling. In line with this initiative, an conveyor-based system for the handling of cement bags-implemented by M/s UltraTech-was commissioned today, March 24, at the rail head of the Chhann Arorian Goods Shed within the Jammu Division. The primary objective of this new initiative is to streamline the process of loading and unloading cement bags.
