KULGAM, May 8 -- In a major action under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan Jammu & Kashmir, Kulgam Police, in coordination with the Revenue authorities, on Thursday retrieved Kahcharai land worth approximately Rs 60 lakh from the unauthorized occupation of alleged drug peddlers in Kund area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district.
Officials said the joint operation was carried out at village Oriel falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kund, where a total of 06 kanals of Kahcharai land was retrieved.
According to details, 01 kanal of land under Survey No. 182 Min was found under the unauthorized occupation of alleged drug peddler Gulam Nabi Bhat, son-in-law of Fateh Mohammad Bhat. Another 03 kanals under Survey No. 142 was under the alleged ill...
