KATHUA, Feb. 27 -- District Administration Kathua, in collaboration with Social Welfare Department, today organised a one-day Recreational-cum-Medical Camp for senior citizens under the National Action Plan for Senior Citizens here at Government Degree College for Women.
Member Legislative Assembly Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma was the guest of honour.
The programme commenced with lighting of the traditional lamp by the guests.
The College Principal, District Social Welfare Officer, faculty members, doctors, paramedical staff and a large number of senior citizens participated in the initiative.
