JAMMU, July 11 -- Jodhamal Public School, in collaboration with the Good School Alliance (GSA) and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), successfully organised a Food Literacy Workshop for its staff and students, reinforcing the importance of food safety, nutrition, and health literacy within educational institutions.
The workshop was led by Preeti, Assistant Director (Technical), Northern Region, FSSAI, who sensitised educators to the significance of food safety and health literacy in schools. She encouraged teachers to integrate healthy food practices and nutrition awareness seamlessly into everyday teaching and learning, thereby fostering healthier lifestyles among students.
