Jammu, Feb. 7 -- The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today carried out a major enforcement drive in the Pouni Chak area of Jammu city, during which newly installed shutters of nine shops were demolished for violating building norms. The shop owners had constructed the commercial units and installed shutters without obtaining the requisite permission and approval from the Jammu Municipal Corporation, thereby flouting prescribed building regulations.
