JAMMU, Aug. 7 -- In a major preventive initiative to protect citizens from mosquito-borne diseases, the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today launched a comprehensive city-wide fogging and spraying drive covering all 75 wards under its jurisdiction.
The campaign is being undertaken on the directions of JMC Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav and under the supervision of Health Officer Dr. Shahid Hussain, in coordination with the Health Department. The drive will continue from August 7 to November 10, 2026, with fogging and spraying activities being conducted in a phased manner across the city.
