Srinagar, June 4 -- A meeting of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) Employees Association was held today at Lalmandi, Srinagar, under the chairpersonship of President Birjees Akhtar.
The meeting discussed several long-pending issues affecting the career progression of existing employees. The members expressed deep concern over the authorities' non-fulfillment of previous assurances.
1. Non-fulfillment of Assurance on DPC: Despite clear assurances made by the authorities earlier to conduct the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), no action has been taken so far.
