JAMMU, Feb. 28 -- On dated _22/02/2026, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Janipur by the complainant namely Sandeep Jamwal S/O Kuldeep Singh R/O Janipur Colony, stating that approximately 9 tolas of gold ornaments were stolen from his/her residential house by unknown person(s).
Upon receipt of the complaint, FIR No. 28/2026 under relevant sections of law was registered at P/S Janipur and investigation was entrusted to PSI Vivek Daliya.
On the directions of SDPO West Dr. Satish Bhardwaj,JKPS, a special team was constituted comprising SHO Janipur,Inspector Vikram Sharma and PSI Vivek Daliya. The team worked under the close supervision of SDPO West and SP City North.
