JAMMU, June 7 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police, in a swift action, have saved the life of a passenger who slipped from a moving train near the Udhampur district.

Commandant 24 JKAP IR, Senior Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Mehta in a statement today said that prompt police action saved precious life of man after a fall from running train.

"The prompt and timely action of the Police Personnel of 24 JKAP IR Bn deployed on guard duties at the railway track saved a life of a man who accidentally fell down in a tunnel from a moving train near Ramnagar in Udhampur district," he said.
