AWANTIPORA, March 2 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday filed a charge sheet in a fake government job fraud case in Awantipora, in which the accused allegedly duped a person of ?7 lakh on the false promise of securing a government appointment.
In a statement, Police Station Awantipora has filed a charge sheet in FIR No. 09/2026 under Sections 318(4), 61(2), and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) before the Hon'ble Court of the Additional Special Mobile Magistrate, Awantipora, in a case pertaining to cheating and fraud on the false pretext of providing a government job.
