Jammu, Sept. 29 -- Jammu Police have busted a counterfeit currency racket operating from a rented house in the Chowadi area of the city. Three men from other states were arrested in the operation.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SDPO City East Sanchit Sharma raided the house in Upper Chowadi on Monday late evening. The team recovered fake notes worth Rs 13,500, along with a scanning machine, a printer, a computer and other material used to make counterfeit currency. A sharp-edged weapon was also seized from the spot.
