KSHTWAR, July 13 -- As part of its continued efforts to support community welfare and empower local youth, the Indian Army inaugurated a three-week JCB Driving Course under its Skill Development initiative at Village Sondar, District Kishtwar, on 12 July 2026.

The course has been designed to provide unemployed youth with practical training in JCB driving and operating skills under the guidance of trained and professional instructors. The programme aims to enhance employability, create livelihood opportunities and enable participants to become self-reliant through industry-relevant technical skills.
