AKHNOOR, Aug. 3 -- Reinforcing its commitment towards community development and youth empowerment, the Indian Army recently launched a month long plumbing skill development programme for local youth of village Rajwal as part of its civic outreach initiatives under Operation Sadhbhavana. The programme aims to equip participants with practical plumbing skills, enhancing their employability and enabling them to pursue sustainable livelihoods. Participants are being introduced to modern plumbing techniques, installation and maintenance of water supply systems, use of plumbing tools, safety standards and basic repair and troubleshooting methods.
