DODA, June 2 -- Indian Army has been constantly undertaking a variety of programme for the locals of the region with special focus on employment generation. In continuing with the same spirit, Indian Army inaugurated a one month Carpenter Course at Village Gwari under Operation Sadbhavana wef 01 Jun 2026.
This novel training programme is a pilot project wherein 15 locals hailing from far-flung areas of Gwari region have been selected. The project aims to provide opportunity to train youths of the region on small scale projects with special emphasis on theoretical and practical aspects of carpenter skills, familiarization with basic mechanism and other important aspects.
