SHIMLA, Aug. 1 -- A yellow alert of heavy rainfall was issued on Saturday for isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh till August 7, according to the Shimla meteorological centre.
A total of 102 roads were closed for vehicular traffic in the state following landslides and flash floods triggered by rains. Additionally, 28 water supply schemes and 11 transformers were disrupted as of Saturday evening, according to the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC).
A maximum of 43 roads were blocked in Mandi, followed by 33 in Kullu, 11 in Shimla, five each in Chamba and Kangra, four in Sirmaur and one in Una district.
