Jammu, Oct. 5 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered a fresh departmental inquiry against a Junior Engineer arrested in a 2021 corruption case, after the Competent Authority rejected the findings of an earlier inquiry report.
The engineer, Arshad Amin, a resident of Thathri in Doda district, was arrested under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in FIR No. 06/2021 registered at Police Station ACB (Central), Jammu. At the time, he was posted as Junior Engineer (REW) at the BDO Office Changa in Tehsil Gandoh, Doda.
