New Delhi, Oct. 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the central government is committed to the development of the country's rural areas and the Union Cabinet's approval of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Gram Swaraj Yojana was an important step in this direction.
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved an allocation of Rs 7,395 crore for the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Gram Swaraj Yojana. "We are committed to the development of the country's rural areas and the empowerment of panchayats.
