NEW DELHI, Nov. 5 -- An awareness programme on Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) and Postal Life Insurance (PLI) schemes was conducted by a team from the General Post Office (GPO), New Delhi, at the Office of the Resident Commission, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, New Delhi.
The initiative was aimed at promoting the financial literacy and familiarising the officers and officials with various government-backed savings and insurance schemes.
The visiting team, headed by Aparna Shandilya Assistant Director and her team, delivered an informative presentation on the features, benefits and eligibility criteria of various savings and insurance products offered by the Department of Posts.
