JAMMU, Oct. 24 -- In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Raj Kumar Banathia, the members of General Category People Front deliberated upon the socio economic and political problems being faced by the people. Addressing the meeting Yash Paul Sanson, President of the Front said on 13th Oct. 2026, Hon'ble High court of Karnathaka in its verdict nullified the increased reservation quota of SC from 15% to 17% and ST quota from 3% to 7% on the breach of 50% limit of reservation. Sanson appealed to the Govt. of JK UT to bring down the existing reservation to 50%.
