SUNDERBANI, June 23 -- Government Degree College (GDC) Sunderbani successfully organized a College Festival on June 23, 2026, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (100 Days Campaign) with the theme "Awareness Today, A Better Tomorrow." The programme was aimed at creating awareness among students and the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free society.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff. The programme commenced with a Drug-Free India Pledge, wherein all faculty members, non-teaching staff and students pledged to contribute towards building a drug-free nation and spreading awareness against substance abuse.
