Pouni, Aug. 7 -- In a spirited celebration of environmental stewardship, the NSS and NCORD units of Government Degree College Pouni, collaboration with Army Ex-Servicemen and the Forest Department, organized a vibrant Plantation Drive on campus today, i.e., August 6, 2025. The initiative aimed to foster ecological awareness and promote sustainable practices among students and the local community. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, who came together to plant a diverse array of saplings including Neem, Peepal, Gulmohar, and fruit-bearing trees.
