JAMMU, Aug. 3 -- In a remarkable display of environmental commitment and community participation, Government Degree College, Ghagwal organised a Mega Plantation Drive on August 2, 2025, under the banner of "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam." The initiative was led from the front by the college's Principal, Dr. Sujata Slathia, and was conceptualised, convened, and successfully implemented by Dr. Shivani Sharma, whose visionary leadership gave momentum to the noble cause.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sujata Slathia, Principal of the College in presence of Mr. Ashok Kalsi, DFO Social Forestry, Kathua, Mr. Ashok Raina, Range Officer, and Mr. Manohar Lal, Headmaster GGHS Ghagwal.
