Jammu, Feb. 28 -- Government Degree College celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2026 with great enthusiasm and academic fervour. The programme was organized by the Department of Computer Science under the able guidance of the Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol.
On the occasion, a documentary on the life and scientific contributions of C. V. Raman was screened for the students and faculty members. The screening highlighted his groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect and his immense contribution to the field of Physics, inspiring students to cultivate a scientific temperament and research-oriented approach.
