BANDIPORA, June 19 -- Government Degree College (GDC) Bandipora on Thursday organised a series of awareness programmes under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to become active stakeholders in building a drug-free society.
The Department of Education, HKM Degree College Bandipora, organised an awareness lecture on drug de-addiction under the guidance of Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Parey. The programme highlighted the adverse social, psychological and health consequences of substance abuse and concluded with a strong message urging students to stay away from drugs and contribute towards a healthy society.
