JAMMU, Aug. 7 -- As part of the ongoing observance of Bone and Joint Day 2025, the Department of Orthopaedics, ASCOMS & Hospital, Sidhra, Jammu, conducted a community outreach visit to the Old Age Home at Ambphalla on 7th August 2025. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Orthopaedic Association, under the thematic focus: "Old is Gold - 360deg Care for the Elderly."
The visit aimed to extend medical support and emotional companionship to senior residents, many of whom face challenges associated with age-related orthopaedic conditions, including osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and mobility impairments.
