POONCH, Sept. 17 -- In a significant boost to rural connectivity in Poonch Haveli, the foundation stones of two major road projects under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) were laid today by Jenab Ajaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Haveli (Poonch).
The two projects cover a combined length of 8 kilometres at a total sanctioned cost of Rs 18.17 crore.
The first project, 021 - Link Road from Km 4.400 of Poonch-Jhullas Road at Banga Pani to Pothi Pathana, has a length of 6 kilometres and a sanctioned cost of Rs 13.5864 crore.
The second project, L023 - Chaktroo-Timbra Road from Km 0.700 to U Timbra, covers 2 kilometres at a sanctioned cost of Rs 4.5840 crore.
