JAMMU, July 30 -- To ensure that the elderly residents live in a cheerful, lively, and socially engaging environment, and to reduce their sense of loneliness and isolation through meaningful interaction, the Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla, Jammu, has been conducting a Social Internship Programme in collaboration with various universities & colleges. Under this initiative, students regularly visit the Home to spend quality time with the residents through conversations, recreational activities, cultural interactions, and companionship, while also developing empathy, discipline, and respect for Senior Citizens.
