Jammu, Feb. 10 -- A five-day Faculty Capacity Building Workshop, jointly organized by the Department of Buddhist Studies and the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), commenced today in the Seminar Hall of the Department of Punjabi at the University of Jammu.

The workshop was officially inaugurated by Shri Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Principal Secretary (CEO) of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of focused research on the Buddhist heritage of Jammu and Kashmir within a contemporary context.
