JAMMU, Sept. 19 -- In a first for Jammu & Kashmir, street food vendors from Jammu and adjoining districts were today trained and certified at a one-day Street Food Vendor Training Programme.
The programme was organised at PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar by the Northern Regional Office of FSSAI in coordination with the Food and Drug Administration, J&K under FoSTaC and Eat Right India campaign.
It was announced that eight such sessions will be held in every district of the Union Territory.
Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma- the Chief Guest- presented FoSTaC training certificates to the participants.
