SAMBA, Oct. 16 -- Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested one drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered 3.58 grams of heroin (chitta) like substance from his possession.
A Police party of Police Station Vijaypur during vehicle checking at AIIMS Naka Vijaypur, intercepted a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK02DN-9327 for its checking. During frisking of the motorcyclist, 3.58 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession.
The drug peddler identified as Jarnail Singh S/O Surinder Pal Singh R/O Babiliana Satwari district Jammu has been arrested and contraband item has been seized. The motorcycle has also been seized in the instant case.
