Udhampur, Oct. 31 -- A police team from Police Station Udhampur, led by its SHO during routine naka checking duty apprehended one person who was roaming suspiciously.
Upon search, a transparent polypouch containing 3.75 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. The accused was arrested on the spot.
The arrested person has been identified as Nitin Sharma S/O Madan Lal S/O Ramnagar, A/P Housing Colony, Udhampur.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 379/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation is underway.
