Doda, Nov. 12 -- Continuing its drive against illegal mining activities in the district, Doda Police today seized one tipper loaded with illegally extracted sand in the Thathri area.
Acting on reliable information, a police team during naka checking at Kalnai Bridge intercepted a tipper bearing registration number JK17-2466 found involved in the illegal transportation of sand.
The seizure was made under the supervision of SHO Police Station Thathri, Shri Sandeep Parihar, along with the naka team. The District Mining Officer has been informed to initiate further legal action as warranted under law.
