Kishtwar, Jan. 4 -- District Police Kishtwar achieved a major breakthrough by swiftly solving a theft case and recovering stolen property worth approximately Rs 4 lakhs within 24 hours, besides arresting two accused persons, at Police Station Chatroo.
SSP Kishtwar Sh. Naresh Singh-JKPS, while sharing the details, informed that a case FIR No. 01/2026 U/S 303 BNS was registered at Police Station Chatroo regarding the theft of a JCB rock breaker from near an Army Camp, Chatroo.
Acting promptly on the complaint, a police team of Police Station Chatroo, led by SHO PS Chatroo Insp. Vikram Singh under the supervision of DySP PC Dachhan immediately took up the investigation.
