KATHUA, Aug. 31 -- Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today chaired a meeting of the District-Level Narco Coordination Committee (NCORD) to review the drug control measures and assess the progress achieved by the concerned departments in combating the menace of narcotics in the district.
At the outset, the meeting undertook a detailed review of the action taken on the decisions of previous NCORD meetings, besides assessing the status of enforcement activities, identification of vulnerable areas and measures adopted to prevent drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
